Why join us

Joining van Cronenburg means becoming part of a passionate, close-knit team dedicated to artistry, innovation, and excellence. Here, every project is unique, every piece tells a story, and your work will help shape iconic buildings around the globe.

The Role

As Head of US Sales & Operations, you will be responsible for leading and developing van Cronenburg’s operations in the United States. Based in New York, you provide daily guidance to the local team and functional leadership to the US team (both in New York and San Francisco)

You serve as the key link between the US market and our headquarters in Belgium, ensuring alignment in quality, service, and communication.

Your responsibilities span commercial development and operational execution. A central mission will be to shape and implement a US growth strategy: building lasting relationships with leading architecture and design firms, ensuring project excellence, and supporting a culture of accountability.

You act as both strategic leader (implementing the vision and ambition of the headquarters into the US market) and hands-on problem-solver, safeguarding our standards across all activities.

Your Contribution

Sales & Business Development

- Define and implement a commercial strategy tailored to the US market.
- Cultivate and expand long-term relationships with top architects, interior designers and leaders in design (magazines, influencers, etc).
- Identify and develop new business opportunities and networking initiatives within the high-end residential, hospitality, and cultural sectors.
- Monitor commercial KPIs and pipeline performance.

Team Leadership

- Provide day-to-day leadership and functional guidance to the teams in New York and San Francisco.
- Foster a culture of a job well done, accountability, pro activity, and collaboration.
- Support recruitment, HR follow-up, and performance coaching.
- Maintain clarity of roles, priorities, and communication across both coasts.

Operational & Project Oversight

- Ensure accurate, efficient execution of client projects in collaboration with project managers and headquarters in Belgium.
- Safeguard compliance with company processes and procedures, including payment and delivery policies.
- Ensure that internal workflows such as order accuracy, delivery coordination, and payment control, are consistently followed, minimizing errors and ensuring a reliable, high-standard client experience.
- Act as the key contact between US teams and our Belgian headquarters.
- Promote a culture of learning and continuous improvement: identify and share operational learnings, ensure structured feedback loops, and help translate incidents into concrete action plans.

What you bring

- Proven leadership experience in sales and operations, ideally across multiple locations.
- A strong network in the US architecture and design world.
- Hands-on, proactive leadership style with a high standard of execution.
- Skilled in team management, performance follow-up, and operational oversight.
- Strong communicator with international mindset and organizational strength.
- Ambitious and forward-looking, with a positive attitude toward innovation and openness to emerging technologies.
- Technical curiosity and savviness is a plus in order to understand the essence of the company’s products.
- Based in New York; with regular travel to San Francisco and client locations.

What We Offer

- The opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the future and growth of a high profile, and high potential company in the US market.
- A role with sufficient room for strategic autonomy while cultivating close ties to our European headquarters and company values.
- A collaborative and ambitious work environment with room for initiative and continuous pursuit of excellence.
- A compensation package that reflects your experience, performance, and potential.
