The Role
As Project Manager, you will take ownership of client projects in the US market while actively contributing to commercial growth. You will coordinate closely with architects, designers, and contractors to deliver complex hardware and sanitary ware solutions from concept to completion. At the same time, you will identify new opportunities, nurture relationships, and help expand van Cronenburg’s footprint across high-end residential and hospitality sectors.
This is a hybrid role combining project execution with business development: ensuring flawless delivery of client work while driving growth through network building and proactive commercial initiatives.
Your Contribution
Project Management
- Coordinate projects with our clients: architects, interior designers, contractors and builders.
- Prepare and revise hardware and sanitary ware schedules, overviews, presentations, and supporting documentation.
- Liaise with the R&D team and workshop in Belgium, ensuring technical precision and timely delivery.
- Process and track orders, invoices & payments through project completion.
Sales & Business Development
- Build and strengthen long-term relationships with leading architecture and design firms.
- Identify new business opportunities in the US luxury design market.
- Represent van Cronenburg at networking events, industry fairs, and client presentations.
- Translate client needs into opportunities for tailored solutions.
Collaboration & Growth
- Work closely with colleagues in New York, San Francisco, Paris and Ghent to ensure alignment across markets.
- Promote a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and excellence.
- Share insights and market intelligence to support van Cronenburg’s US growth strategy.
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Art, Design, Architecture, or Construction Management.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in architectural hardware, sanitary ware, or related design/construction industries.
- A strong visual and aesthetic sensibility, combined with technical comprehension and curiosity.
- Experience managing client-facing projects in a high-end or design-driven environment.
- Commercial acumen with the ability to identify opportunities and cultivate relationships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to read architectural drawings and construction documents.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite; knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign, or AutoCAD is a plus.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with a strong sense of responsibility, accuracy, and teamwork.
